Since 1836 Holland & Sherry has continued to supply prestigious tailors and luxury brands with some of the finest cloths in the world. Stephen George Holland and Frederick Sherry began the business as woolen merchants at 10 Old Bond Street, London, specializing in both woolen and silk cloths. In 1886 Holland & Sherry moved premises to Golden Square, at the time the epicenter of the woolen merchanting trade.

With over 185 years of proudly British manufacturing and design heritage to our name – we are experts in producing woollen cloth of unrivalled character and quality. Today, we are one of a select few mills within the UK that manufacture and sell our cloth directly to our customers from a single site – allowing us to control every single stage within the production process to the highest standard.

In 1881 Mr Bateman and Mr Ogden came together to establish a brand new textile business in Bradford – the heart of the UK textile industry. Little could they have imagined that 130 years later, the name Bateman Ogden & Co Ltd would be renowned across the globe as one of the finest suppliers of luxury suit length fabrics. Today we supply high-quality fabrics to tailors across every continent; delivering an elegant range, a wide choice of fabrics and excellent customer service to our discerning customers.

James & Ogilvie founded in 1827 at 123 High Street, Edinburgh, Scotland. Lear Browne and Dunsford purchased Harrisons in 1999, and transformed the business, and indeed Harrisons is now the name we now all know and use. Harrisons, with all its history and fine collections of cloth, has become the flagship of our ranges and is a leading name in the worldwide fine cloth trade.
