Meet our new pattern technologist Karen Champlin

Pattern making is an art. It is the art of manipulating and shaping a flat piece of fabric to conform to one or more curves of the human figure. It is a bridge function between design and production. A sketch can be turned into a garment via a pattern which interprets the design in the form of the garment.

Karen has worked in the pattern industry arena for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience of the apparel production process which means combined between Russel, Gordon and Karen there is over around 85 years of experience, meaning your customers garment is in experienced hands of dedicated experts
